Alan Bouvier Jr., age 48 and resident of Lancaster, passed away on February 19th 2022, with his caretaker Francisco by his side.
Alan was born in Marlborough, MA on August 22, 1973 to Alan Sr. and Maria Bouvier. Alan graduated from Hudson Catholic high school in Hudson, MA in 1992. In 1999, he was first diagnosed with progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) and became wheelchair bound in 2000. Alan had been employed by TJX companies for 25 years and worked full time until his passing. As Alan aged, his body progressively weakened and eventually Alan lost all use of his limbs and became a quadriplegic. Alan's family at TJX did not stop believing in Alan and provided him with all the assistive technology and support he needed which kept Alan independent, motivated, and living for tomorrow.
As we have all heard before family does not always have to be blood. Family are people who stick by you through the good and bad. Alan leaves behind his caretaker, Francisco Montoya and his son, Antonio Montoya who were Alan's only active family for over 12 years. Alan is now in peace and free with his beloved mother and grandparents, no longer trapped within himself. Antonio and I love you and you will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for allowing me to be the father and man I am today. Look over us my new angel.
The gates of heaven have opened for our dear friend Alan.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring at a time and date to be announced.
Donations in his memory may be made to Alan's home address 913 George Hill Rd, Lancaster, MA, 01523 to Alan's next of kin Francisco Montoya.
