Alden Raymond Farrar

Alden Raymond Farrar age 84 of Ayer passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln.

Alden was born in Medford on June 7, 1934 the son of the late Raymond F. and Marjorie H. (Smith) Farrar. Raised and educated in Arlington, he graduated from Arlington High School then attended and graduated from the former Gardner State Hospital School earning a degree in Nursing. He worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Walter E. Fernald State School in Waltham before retiring.

He is survived by his son Raymond A. Farrar and his wife Gemma from Tampa, Florida. He was predeceased by his brother Donald Simpson Farrar.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Alden on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. His funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett will be private.
