Alfred Raynes

Alfred Hammond Raynes born August 14, 1918, in Hyde Park MA died March 27th after a brief illness.  He was the son of William Augustus Raynes and Harriet Anna Schmalz.  He was a WWII veteran.  He was retired from GE where he had been a systems analysist. Alfred was a long time resident of Harvard MA, and summered in Deer Isle ME.  His wife of 62 years, Barbara F. Raynes, preceded him in death by 10 years.  He leaves two daughters:  Linda Ann Raynes of San Diago CA, and Barbara Lee Marquis of Niceville Fl.  He had four grandchildren:  Beckett Hammond Kirk, Evan Alexander Kirk, Rebecca Lee McDonnell and Linda Ann Fylak, and six great grandchildren:  Auzule Patricia Diaz, Kristian Hammond Kirk, Geoffrey Peter Fylak, Krytyna Nicole Fylak, John Patrick McDonnell and Sabrina Lee McDonnell.
