Alice G. Cornellier

PEPPERELL - Alice G. (Chase) Cornellier, age 76, a lifelong resident of Pepperell, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Lionel A. "Tardy" Cornellier with whom she shared 39 years of marriage and the late Andrew I. Pillsbury.

She was born October 18, 1936, daughter of the late Harold L. and Florence (Longley) Chase. She was educated in the Pepperell School System and was a graduate of Pepperell High School. In her earlier years, she was a cashier for A & P which later became IGA. She loved to play bingo, loved all children, and especially cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother, Leonard Chase of Pepperell, two grandchildren, Mark A. Pillsbury and Shawn Pillsbury, a great grandson, Andrew Pillsbury, and a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Pillsbury all of Pepperell. Besides her first husband, she was predeceased by a son, Andrew I. Pillsbury who passed away in 2006.

Visiting hours at the MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 16 Pleasant St., Pepperell today, Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Grace Parish formerly known as St. Joseph Parish, Tarbell St., Pepperell. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Pepperell.
