Andrew J. Callaluca, 31, of Townsend, died unexpectedly at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer on July 20, 2014. He was born in Concord on September 10, 1982 son of Leann (Dumas) Saunders of Townsend and Joseph C. Callaluca Jr. of Hudson, NH. He grew up in Westford, Litchfield, NH and Townsend and was a graduate of Nashoba Tech, where he graduated inn 2000. He played football for Nashoba Tech for 4 years where he was Captain of the Football Team in his senior year He also loved fishing.

Andrew worked for several years as a mechanic for B&J Cycles and Alo Gutters. He was very mechanically inclined and likes fixing small engines.

He is survived by his father Joseph and his wife Helene Callaluca Jr. of Hudson, NH. His mother Leann Saunders of Townsend. His son Jackson D. Callaluca of Pepperell, 2 brothers Joseph C. Callaluca III of Litchfield, NH and Donald E. Saunders of Townsend, A sister Catherine Abbott of Litchfield, NH and a stepbrother & stepsister Gary and Rachel Saunders of California and a stepbrother Alan Dickey and a stepsister Tina Nutter

Visiting Hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. Littleton on Thursday July 24, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the United Church of Shirley at a later date.
