Angeline D. (DaBaisieux) Nickrosz, age 92, of Pepperell and formerly of Lowell died Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the Nashoba Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Victor Z. Nickrosz who died in 1986.
She was born in Lowell, MA on September 30, 1916, the daughter of the late Alphonse & Rebecca (Lanteigne) DaBaisieux. She was educated in the Lowell School System. She and her late husband owned and operated Black & White Trucking Co. in Pepperell from 1940 to 1982.
She was an active business woman for over 50 years, past president and board member of the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary in Lowell, a dedicated member of the Nashoba Valley Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary for over 30 years, past president of the Pepperell Woman's Club and a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Pepperell
She leaves a daughter, Rebecca (Nickrosz) Burke and her husband, Dr. William Burke of New Castle, NH; three sons, Dr. Lester V. Nickrosz and his wife Moira of Palm Beach, FL, John D. Nickrosz of Boston, Leonard V. Nickrosz and his wife, Kathleen of Boxboro. She was the grandmother of Laura and Julia Nickrosz and Katelyn and Travis Burke. She is also survived by her loving friends and neighbors, Dolly and Allan Bancroft. She is pre-deceased by a son, Richard L. Nickrosz and a grandson, Boston Police Officer, Joel V. Nickrosz.
