Anna Maria "Anni" McCoy

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Anni W. McCoy during the early morning hours of Sunday, July 23, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. 

She was a beautiful soul who truly loved beautiful things, whether it be the many flower gardens she tended, the meticulously coordinated clothing outfits she wore to any occasion, or the beautiful table she set for many a gathering of friends and family.

Anni loved more than anything else her family, her beloved husband of nearly 59 years, Paul F. McCoy of Shrewsbury, MA (formerly Westford and Harvard, MA), her only son, Christopher T. McCoy, his loving wife Christine (Borrazzo) also of Shrewsbury, MA and, most especially, her three grandchildren Stephanie, Jennifer, and Matthew McCoy who all reside in Boston, MA.  Her niece, Carmen Lehmann (Wohlfart), was like a daughter to her, her husband Rolf Lehmann, their daughter Catherina Ruecher (Lehmann), and her husband Sebastian Ruecher, all of Obertshausen, Germany.  Her other nieces, Marnie McCoy and Debra McCoy of King of Prussia, PA, and their mother, Sandy McCoy (Johnson) of West Chester, PA held a special place in her heart as the remaining members of her American family. Many cousins survive in Germany where Anni immigrated from in 1954.  Too numerous to mention, she leaves many, many friends who were all dear to her

Anni joins in Heaven, her parents Friedrich Wiegand and Katherina Wiegand (Winter) with her stepmother Wilhelmine Wiegand (Winter) along with her older sister Wilma Huneke (Wiegand) formerly of Plymouth Meeting, PA, her younger sister Martha Wohlfart (Wiegand), and nephew Jurgen Wohlfart, all from Obertshausen, Germany, and her brother-in-law Thomas McCoy of Berwyn, PA.

Friends and family are invited to visitation hours from 4:00-7:00PM on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton, MA.  A brief memorial service will occur at 10AM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Badger Funeral home followed by interment at the Bellevue Cemetery in Harvard, MA.
