Anna Sawyer

Anna Marie Sawyer, age 32 passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Born on St. Patrick's Day in 1981 she was the beloved daughter of Cynthia Sawyer, of Maynard, MA, sister of James Sawyer of Dover, NH and loving aunt of Tyler Sawyer also of Dover, NH.
Anna cherished her 3 children, Alyxis, age 12, Kevin, age 9 and Haley, age 6. Anna fought a long exhausting battle against addiction and had to make some very hard choices to ensure that her children would be well taken care of. Throughout her life she has touched many lives and hearts and was always there for you when you needed it. She leaves behind several aunts and uncles, many cousins and lots of friends she has touched along the way.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to any local Narcotics Anonymous.

A favorite prayer of Anna's:
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change to things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference.

A message from her brother:
I tried Anna, I tried to steer you in the right path. I don't know that I could have done more. You have been through hell and back dealing with your issues and I want you to know that wherever you are I am Proud of you for what you tried to accomplish even though it was hard and you were suffering so much. I hope you're not suffering anymore and you can finally rest without having to worry about anything. I love you. Always have and always will forever. I will never forget you and either will Tyler.
