Anne E. Campbell loving wife, mother and grandmother died peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by her family on February 27, 2022 after a brief illness. She was 90 years of age.
Born on April 12, 1931 Anne was the daughter of the late Mary L.(Magennis) and Timothy F. Halloran of Cork, Ireland.
Anne, also known by loved ones as Nancy graduated from WHS and MGH school of Nursing and received her Bachelor's Degree from Boston College. Anne and her husband Jack were married for 60 years before his passing in 2014.
While being a loving wife, mother, sister, friend and grandmother, Anne enjoyed her career as an RN. She was caring and compassionate to all. Her Catholic faith was of utmost importance to her as she was always an active member of her Parish. She looked forward to her annual MGH reunions, and enjoyed her book, toastmistress and gourmet clubs. Additionally, Anne loved traveling with Jack across the US, visiting many states. She was an avid Red Sox fan and went to many Spring Trainings . Music was another life's pleasures as a piano player she loved the Boston Pops and going to Saratoga Springs every summer along with other cultural events. Keeping in touch and visits with relatives from Ireland was a treat because most of all, Anne treasured her time with loved ones, especially summers at the family cottage in York, ME where the family gathered. Anne cherished her grandchildren and loved attending their many activities. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children; John Jr. and her daughter in law Iryna of Maine; her son Jeffrey Campbell of Nashua NH; son in law Fran Deleo of Beverly and daughters Anne (Nancy) Cossette of Milford and her late husband Jimmy Cossette; Alison and her husband Jack Tobin of Acton; Tim Campbell and daughter in law Mercedes of Falls Church, VA. She is also survived by her sister Rita Clark of Sudbury, 9 grandsons 3 granddaughters and several nieces and nephews and sister in law Barbara Campbell of York, ME. Anne was predeceased by her loving daughter Mary L. Deleo as well as by her sister Shelia and Albert Nau, brother-in-law Robert Clark, Margaret and John Clarke, James, Rita, Claire and Joseph Campbell and Mary and Richard Ryan
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Anne for a period of visitation on Friday March 4, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 9:00 am in Blessed Trinity Parish- St. Anne Church, 75 King Street, Littleton. Interment in St Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford will be private.
