Anne C. Verrecchia

Anne C. Verrecchia, age 95, passed away peacefully at Apple Valley Center, Ayer on January 31, 2016. Anne was the daughter of the late Antonio and Vincenza (Letizio) Verrecchia of Lawrence, MA. She was the longest surviving of her siblings, Viola DeVito, Frank, Albert, and Michael Verrecchia. Anne was born in Lawrence, MA and lived her earlier years on Avon St., Lawrence and later she was a long time resident of Morgan Drive, Haverhill where she was condominium treasurer for many years until the age of 87.A graduate of Lawrence High School and the Charles School in Cambridge, MA, Anne was office manager for Prudential Insurance Company in Lawrence and in Malden, MA where she worked for 40 years.Anne was a loving and caring aunt, dedicated to her family. She was a communicant of St. Lucy’s Catholic Church in Methuen, MA. She is survived by her niece, Jean Devito Cunningham and her husband Peter Cunningham of Groton, their children Jenny and Laura Cunningham, and her nephews James, Stephen, and Michael Verrecchia, and nieces, Ann Loven, Betty Wallace, Judy Lacasse, Janet Giaimo, their spouses and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, Cambridge, MA, or Nashoba Nursing Service and Hospice, Shirley, MA.A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Friday, February 5th at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St. Groton, MA. Relatives and friends will be received from 10AM to service time.
