Arthur "Buck" Wilson Collins, Jr. age 66 of Westford formerly of Littleton and Lexington passed away on his birthday December 2, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. He was the devoted husband of 37 years to Mary (Carmichael) and loving father of Mollie and Anna.
Raised and educated in Lexington, Buck graduated from Lexington High School and later attended Lowell Technical Institute. Buck and Mary married on August 29, 1981 at St. James Church in Arlington and soon settled in Littleton. He worked and retired at Metal Spinners as a Senior Engineer and previously worked at 3A Motors.
Family was the center of his life, he cherished time with his wife and girls. Buck enjoyed holidays, birthdays and special moments and milestones and was proud of their accomplishments. He especially enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles and following NASCAR events. He enjoyed playing the drums, piano and his favorite the guitar, he was an avid skier and enjoyed boating and was always up for an adventure. Buck was a communicant of St. Anne-St. Catherine Collaborative, his faith played an important role in his life.
Buck was born on December 2, 1952 in Waltham, the son of Barbara (Fisk) Collins of Naples, Florida and the late Arthur W. Collins. Along with his wife, children and mother he is survived by his sister Sandi Collins of Maine and brother James Collins of TN; along with his godchildren Andrew Collins, John Carmichael and Ellie Badgett and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.
Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Buck's life on Friday, Dec. 7 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 10:30 AM at St. Anne's Church, 75 King St., Littleton. Burial will be private.
