Barbara L. Bardsley, a long time Littleton resident passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday evening, August 12, 2018 surrounded by her children. She was 84 years old.
Barbara was born in Dorchester on December 26, 1933, a daughter to the late George and Phyliss (Towle) Gile.
Barbara was an avid crafter. She often enjoyed endless hours of arts and crafts. She was also had a keen interested in wildlife and was an equestrian enthusiast.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Phillip Bardsley and Keith Bardsley; her grandchildren, Shannon, Stephanie, Amanda and Nicholas; and her great-grandchildren, Sydney, Ivy, Maya, Lily, Liam, Angelina, Jaycob, Madyson and Zackery.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is sadly predeceased by her brother, Melvin Gile, a World War II hero and Korean POW.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Sunday August 19, 2018 from 1 pm until 6 pm at Barbara's Residence: 55 Orchid Drive Littleton, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to The COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, FL 33134. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton.
