Barbara C. Eliades

November 25, 1917 — January 11, 2021

Barbara C. Eliades, Dearly Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great, Great Grandmother, 103 years old, died on Monday, January 11, 2021.

Barbara, known to everyone as "Gram", was truly a rare, one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime, remarkable woman. Born in Harvard, MA, to Arthur and Florence Calkins, Barbara was one of five children. She was a strong woman and a very hard worker, who lived to see the most amazing generations.

She was married to Theodore (Ted) Eliades for over 50 years, who preceded her passing in 1991. She was very close to her two daughters, her four grandsons, and all of her great grandchildren, and her great, great grandchildren. She was always beaming proudly whenever she shared their achievements and accomplishments.

Barbara was the last of the Calkins children, as her other four siblings have preceded her. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Duncan of Florida and Jo-Ann Doherty, and her respective husband, David Doherty of New Hampshire, and their respective sons, and her grandsons, Scott Duncan of New York and Jonathan Duncan of Florida, and Steven Barrow and Mark Barrow of New Hampshire, and their respective children, and her great grandchildren.

We remain strong in our faith and in the comfort and knowledge that Gram is now in the presence of Jesus.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
