Bernice Eubanks Kefel, 67 and a longtime resident of Shirley passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer, on July 9, 2021. She was the daughter of the late O'Neil and Hattie Mae (Anderson) Eubanks.
One of seven children, Bernice was the only daughter to O'Neil and Hattie. She leaves behind one brother Joe Eubanks, sister-in-law Barbara J. Eubanks, nephews; Maurice E. and Joseph E. Eubanks as well as many wonderful friends from all over and extended family in Las Vegas.
Bernice held many careers including 25 years at the former Digital Corporation, 10 years as a Registered Nurse and as a newspaper carrier for over 15 years. She liked to stay busy and loved her family and life. She was full of laughter and fun and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Bernice is sadly predeceased by her brothers; O'Neil, Jr., Elbert, Lee, Franklin and Holly.
The family, wish to extend a HUGE thank you to the great staff at Apple Valley Center in Ayer and Compassum Hospice of Andover.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Bernice for a period of visitation from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday July 17, 2021 in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Shirley Village Cemetery, Harvard Road, Shirley.
