Bertha J. (Noftle) Curdo

Mrs. Bertha J. "Bert" (Noftle) Curdo of Ayer was granted her angel wings on Thursday evening, November 15, 2018, just two days after her 84th birthday. After a lengthy illness, her final days were spent in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Bert touched everyone in so many ways throughout her memorable life.

Bert was such a unique and special woman. She always put her family and friends' needs before her own. She was so thoughtful and caring ensuring her family's health and wellness. She loved to cook homemade meals and always wanted others to enjoy her heartfelt food. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, singing, sharing stories & laughs, and creating picture collage scrapbooks. Family was paramount in Bert's life. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her daughter, daughter in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her sisters as often as she could.

Bert is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ann Middlebrook and her daughter-in-law, Carlene A. Purdy; her grandchildren, Michael J. Middlebrook and Amanda L. Middlebrook as well as her great-grandchildren, Kailey, Serenity, Logan and Grace. She is further survived by her brother, Frederick Noftle of Utah as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Richard W. Curdo, Bertha is sadly predeceased by her sisters, Gloria McCallum, Doris Davis and her identical twin, Beatrice Rogers; and her brothers, Ronald and William Noftle.

Family and friends can gather to honor and remember Bert for a period of visitation on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
