Beverley M. (Scharch) Bosley

Beverley Mae (Scharch) Bosley, 92 and a longtime Ashby resident, formerly of Pepperell, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Bosley, Sr., who passed away in 2012.

Beverley was born in Syracuse, NY on August 26, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Viva (Seabury) Scharch. Her family relocated to Pepperell in 1938 and she graduated from Pepperell High School in 1946 and moved to West Groton where she married her Sweetheart, Joe. Beverley was employed by the Bemis Bros. Bag Co. as a sales and production coordinator. She was most fulfilled, however, by being a stay-at-home mother while raising her two sons. Beverley and Joe moved to Ashby in 1971 and she began working again, this time as an administrative assistant for Hollingsworth and Vose Co. in West Groton. A position she held for 21 years. Beverley will be missed by all those who had the opportunity to know her. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Beverley leaves behind her son, Joseph J. Bosley, Jr. and his wife, Lois of Leominster as well as two grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Beverley was sadly predeceased by her son, John J. Bosley.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Beverley for a period of visitation on Wednesday November 3, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton. Her funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday November 4, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Pepperell Cemetery.
