Beverly Jean (Lohnes) DeMaggio age 86 of Littleton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. She was the wife of Louis J. DeMaggio.
Beverly was born in Malden, MA on April 29, 1933 a daughter of the late Antonio "Tony" and Elvera (MacLeod) Capachietti. Raised in Everett she married Louie 65 years ago living in Everett for quite a bit while her husband was stationed overseas, when he returned they settled in Woburn for many years and recently moved to Littleton.
Along with being a devoted wife and mother, Bev was quite the social butterfly and in younger days Bev enjoyed entertaining friends and family with large meals and plenty of laughter. After her children were grown, she returned to work force as data entry clerk for Dig Safe making many friends quickly and she loved her job. She quickly became popular. Bev was often seen dancing her way to get a cup of coffee and was known for her ability to make people break out in laughter with silly word or gesture. After retirement she enjoyed crocheting and crossword puzzles and traveling. Bev enjoyed her travels to Greece, Washington DC, New York and especially a trip to Nova Scotia and visit to PEI where her Grandfather lived. However, family was the center of her life, she most cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren whether it was shopping, lunch or simply sitting at the table for coffee.
