Brenda G. Callahan, 67, of Pepperell passed away peacefully on December 12, 2015 at Apple Valley Center in Ayer surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 11, 1948 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of the late Michael J. and Marjorie I. (Blodgett) Callahan.
She was a lifelong resident of Pepperell and was educated in the Pepperell School System. Brenda was a former parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Pepperell. She was employed as a Manager/Bartender at the Townsend V.F.W. Post #6538 and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Pepperell V.F.W. Post #3291.
She is survived by her former husband, George Kennard of New Ipswich, NH.; one son, John F. Kennard and wife Stephanie (Bourgeois) Kennard, one grandson, Keegan Kennard and one granddaughter, Brenna Kennard, all of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, Michael P. Callahan and wife Ann Callahan of Topsham, ME; two sisters, Patricia E. Rice and husband Carlton Rice of Merrimack, NH and Maureen C. Wheeler and husband Silas Wheeler, Jr. of Pepperell and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Marchand Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m.
