Brenda C. Ogilvie

Brenda C. Ogilvie, 62, of Ayer, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2022. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; Brenda will be remembered for her kindness and unwavering love.

Brenda was born February 26, 1960 to Dean and Judith (McNabb) Cahill. She was raised in Harvard and graduated from The Bromfield School. After graduation Brenda began her lifelong passion as a dedicated homemaker.

Brenda had a passion for animals and enjoyed caring for the horses on the family farm. She loved her cats, which she had plenty of through the years and her favorite cattle dog, “Pumpkin”, who lived to be 18 years old. Brenda cherished spending time with her family and her gentle laugh will be missed by all who knew her.

Brenda is survived by her husband Chuck Ogilvie of Ayer, her son Jay Brown and his wife Jessica of Langdon, NH, her brother Glenn Cahill of Shirley, her sister-in-law Karen Rogers of Kansas, her aunt Linda Days of Waltham, MA, her grandson Griffin Brown of Langdon, NH, many nieces, nephews, cousins and Chuck’s father James Ogilvie of Littleton, MA.

Brenda is predeceased by her parents Dean and Judy, and her siblings Doreen, Paul and Neil Cahill.

All services and interment will be held privately.
