Calvin Josiah Colby

Calvin Josiah Colby, born May 22, 2019, gained his angel wings in the arms of his loving parents on September 5, 2019 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved baby son of Jennifer (Faucette) and Brian Colby of Shirley, MA.
Calvin's family was blessed with him for over three months. Cal was an excellent snuggler who easily won over the hearts of all those who met him. Cal watched the world around him with big dark eyes and long eyelashes. He was seldom seen without his binky and tiger companion Hobbes. Cal enjoyed the simple things: music, lights, bathtime, holding fingers, head rubs, back pats, toe tickles, and books. His family will forever remember "Calvin's Big Day Outside" when he paraded through the hospital and enjoyed a garden picnic in the sun.
In addition to his parents, Calvin is survived by his big brother Stephen Colby of Shirley, MA.
Other surviving family include: grandparents Victoria and Franklin Faucette of Reading, MA, grandparents Jo Anna (Whited) and Stephen Colby of Fairbanks, Alaska, uncle Richard Faucette of Salem, NH, aunt Jaclyn Boyd (Michael) of Westbrook, ME, aunt Shannon Boyle (Mark) of Fairbanks, AK, and cousins Owen Boyle, Hugh Boyle, Natalie Boyd, and William Boyd. Calvin was sadly predeceased by his brother, Axel, who passed in 2017.
The family is eternally grateful for the thoughtful and loving care Calvin received at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, they request memorial contributions be made in Calvin and Axel's names to either:
