Carol Healy Sweeney

Carol Healy Sweeney, 69, a resident of Bolton, formerly of Littleton, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021. She is the devoted wife of Daniel G. Sweeney.

Carol was born in Ayer, MA on April 2, 1952, a daughter to the late Richard and Christine (Pierce) Healy. She attended and graduated from Littleton High School in 1970 and continued her education at Saint Elizabeth Hospital nursing program in Boston earning her RN degree in 1975. Carol was a compassionate nurse and worked for over 40 years.

Along with her husband Daniel, Carol also leaves behind her three children; Kathryn Lemire (Sweeney), and her husband Craig of Newburyport MA, Patrick Sweeney of Boxborough, and Paul Sweeney of Boxborough, three grandchildren; Jack, Chase, and Tess. Carol also leaves behind three sisters; Joanne Myers, Gail Scott, and her twin sister Dorothy O'Reilly. Carol will be missed by all those who had the opportunity to know her. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Carol for a period of visitation on Sunday November 7, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton. Her funeral service will be celebrated in the St. Anne's Church on Monday November 8, 2021, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow.
