Chester E. Chambers

Chester (Chet) E. Chambers, Jr., 75, of Pepperell, MA passed away on Saturday June 17, 2017 at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster after a period of declining health.

He was born April 18, 1942, a son of the late Thelma (Bent) Chambers and Chester E. Chambers of Pepperell. Chet was a lifelong resident of Pepperell and graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School. He was employed by Bemis Bag Company and retired from the North Middlesex School District.

Chet “Uncle Butch” loved and adored his family and friends. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, golf, traveling and trips to the beach. He spent many years camping in Maine with his wife.

In addition to his beloved wife, Betty-Lou (Jones) Chambers, he is survived by his son Christopher Chambers and his wife Kelly of Townsend. Sisters Lois Lamphier and her husband John of Pepperell and Blanche Tourville and her husband Kendrick Cunningham of Londonderry, NH, a brother Gary Chambers and his wife Patricia of Nashua, NH as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also the brother of the late Kathleen Chambers and Ellen Lawrence.
