Claire Noel (Carberry) Kazanjian, 48 and a long time Littleton resident and active member of the community passed away suddenly on January 17, 2020. She was the wife of Jon Kazanjian, and loving mother to Thomas and Christopher Kazanjian.
Claire was born in Norwood, MA on January 10, 1972, to her parents Harry and Mary Lou (McKay) Carberry and older brother, Patrick Carberry. Claire spent her childhood in Upper Perkiomen Valley, PA and graduated from University of Scranton with a B.S. in Biology laying the groundwork for her passion for the sciences. She later received her MBA from Bentley University.
A natural born athlete and avid sports fan, Claire excelled at just about every sport she tried - from basketball to competing in triathlons. She is even honored as an all-around athlete in her high school sports hall of fame. She enjoyed sporting events, yoga and refinishing & repurposing furniture. She was an Explorer Scout embarking on many adventures as a young woman which began her love of traveling the globe. One of her early adventures was conquering Japan's Mt Fuji. She even canoed the bioluminescent sea in Thailand. Claire's career gave her many traveling opportunities to further drive her wanderlust, trips she often shared with her family, most recently they all ventured together to Mount Rushmore.
Claire was a passionate, visionary and driven Sales and Marketing Executive – serving as a leader, manager, and mentor to most throughout her career. She spent her career in the Life Sciences industry; with over 15 years with EMD Millipore.
Although Claire achieved exceptional success in all her endeavors, her greatest accomplishment came when her two sons Thomas and Christopher were born. Above all, family was paramount in Claire's life. She was a loving mother, dedicated wife, beloved daughter, remarkable sister, indescribable aunt, adored niece, admired and idolized cousin, revered coworker and loyal friend to so many.
Claire will be greatly missed by many, most especially her two children, Thomas and Christopher, her husband Jon, parents Harry and Mary Lou Carberry, brother Patrick Carberry, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Claire for a period of visitation on Friday evening, January 24, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in St. Anne's Church, 75 King Street, Littleton. Her funeral mass will be celebrated in the church on Saturday morning January 25, 2020 at 9:00 am with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be private.
