Courtney Wells (Allen)

August 10, 1987 — August 10, 2024

Littleton, Massachusetts

Courtney “Court” (Allen) Wells of Littleton, MA passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, on her 37th birthday, from Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was the daughter of Eric “Rick” and Deborah (McKelvie) Allen. She spent her last days in Maine at a friend’s lakeside cottage where she had so many happy memories.

Court graduated from Littleton High School in 2005 and later received her Associates Degree from Ashworth College. She was such a bright spirit, filled with empathy for her family and all those she met on her life’s journey. Court had an amazing sense of humor and a sharp wit that never deserted her. She faced much adversity but stayed positive, and impressed us with her continuous growth on her spiritual journey right to the end. Court was always up for an adventure. She especially loved spending time at any body of water, swimming, bobbing, and watching the sunset. She spent countless hours at Long Lake and Forge Pond locally, often with her good friend Crystal, as well as Long Lake in Maine and York and Old Orchard Beach. She was very creative and especially enjoyed her painting.

Court and her adored dog, Jack, were inseparable from the start. Her constant companion provided emotional support through many life challenges and she was utterly heartbroken when she lost him. We are comforted now knowing that she is reunited with Jack and her special friends, Leah and “Ryan II”.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Kyle Allen of Maynard and Nicholas Allen of Chelmsford, as well as her paternal grandmother Patricia Allen and her maternal honorary grandfather James Plourde both of Littleton. Also, her beloved nieces as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She also leaves her estranged husband Ryan Wells and her mother-in-law Sharon Waldron.

She was predeceased by her great-grandmother Jennie Vincent who was very special to her and her grandparents Bruce McKelvie and Jacqueline McKelvie Plourde and Howard Allen Jr.

In lieu of flowers, monetary or blood donations in Court’s memory can be made to the American Red Cross. She had a mission to educate everyone that a single blood donation can save four lives.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, at the Nabnasset Lake Country Club, 47 Oak Hill Rd., Westford, MA.
