Challenges in life his fate to endure,
A mind connected to all that is pure.
Speaking with smiles and so expressive eyes,
Vital lessons he taught between his soft sighs.
Confined to a world that would leave others in fear,
He faced every day with abundance of cheer.
Love he took and Love bravely gave,
Ocean of Affection rides heavenly wave.
His mission achieved, his Love touched those dear,
Angels came calling, new course now to steer.
Destination Heaven—final port of call,
David at peace, his smiles fall on all.
