David S. Lawrence, a veteran of the Marine Corps. was a compassionate soul born in Durant, OK on the 14th of November, 1943, left us on the 2nd of June, 2025. David spent most of his life in Leominster, Massachusetts, where he was widely recognized for his dedicated service as a Sales Associate for Home Depot until his retirement at age 72-. His spirited energy and infectious enthusiasm not only brightened the aisles of the store, but also touched the lives of countless customers and colleagues who had the privilege to know him.
David was deeply in love with life and more deeply in love with his second wife, Linda, to whom he was married for over 30 years. His first wife, Helen, of 27 years was the mother to all his children. She died tragically and suddenly when David was 49 years old. He was a loving father to Eric, Ken, Elizabeth, and Cathy, and a pillar of strength to his family, including 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A man of profound faith, David regularly attended the Trinity Congregational Church of Bolton, where his dedication and zeal were as palpable as the prayers he offered. A fishing enthusiast, he found joy and serenity in the quiet moments near the water, often reflecting on the beauty of life and the love he held for his family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Renona Lawrence, and his twin brother, Charles "Chuck", Floyd “Joe”,and Philip Lawrence. His legacy of love and dedication, however, continues to live on through his family and all those who were fortunate enough to have been a part of his journey.
A service to honor and celebrate David's life will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. Littleton, MA. A funeral service will take place, at a later date, at Trinity Church, 14 Wattaquadock Hill Rd, Bolton, MA 01740.
