David E. Marcus, born on April 24, 1946, in Concord, Massachusetts, was an ambitious soul with a charismatic personality that drew people in. David graduated from Littleton High School in 1964, then went on to attend Springfield College, graduating in 1968. His love for physical education led him to a fulfilling career as a Physical Education teacher in Tewksbury Schools from 1968 to 2008. His ability to inspire and motivate his students was a testament to his dedication and passion for his profession. However, David's ambitions extended beyond his professional life. An active member of the Tewksbury Historical Society, he had a deep interest in family genealogy and Revolutionary history. His hobbies included cross-country and downhill skiing, gardening, and bird watching. His love for nature and history was infectious, inspiring those around him to appreciate the world's beauty and complexity.

Family was the cornerstone of David's life. He was a loving and supportive uncle to his nieces, Emily Marcus and Alice Aguacia (Marcus) and Pamela Churchill, and nephews, Christopher Johnson, Matthew Johnson. He is also survived by his twin brother, Stephen Marcus. David is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Esther Marcus, and his siblings, Kenneth and Judith Marcus.

A funeral service in honor of David will be held at Badger Funeral Homes Inc, 347 King Street, Littleton, Massachusetts, 01460, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. The burial will follow the service at 12:30 pm at the Westlawn Cemetery, 7 New Estate Rd., Littleton, MA 01460.
