David Scott Stone

David Scott Stone "Uncle Miz" age 58 passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Leominster after a long illness.

Born October 23, 1960 in Leominster, to Elwin and Lillian(Norris) Stone. David grew up in Lunenburg and spent most of his adult life between Fitchburg and Leominster. Though life was a constant struggle for him, he always managed to have a smile on his face and have fun. David especially loved spending time with his brother Jeff and looked forward to his visits. David loved the holidays and always grew excited knowing he was coming to have dinner and spend time with family. Days leading up to each visit meant calling every day to make sure we did not forget and what time we were coming to get him.

David also had a love for adventure, once traveling across the country on his motorcycle. He also had a love for animals and enjoyed attending 4H fairs or just going to a farm. David loved a lot of things but most of all, he loved his family and especially spending time with his brother Jeff who cared and looked after him most of his life up until his passing.

David leaves behind his brothers Jeff Stone of Lunenburg and Richard Stone and Robert Stone both of Maine, his sisters Sandra Stone, Barbara DiGeronimo and Donna Burns all of Florida and Carol Stone of Arizona. David was also "Uncle Miz" to many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He is predeceased by his brothers Jimmy and Steve, a sister Patty and his parents Elwin and Lillian.

Family and friends can gather to honor and remember David for a period of memorial visitation from 3 PM until 4 PM on Saturday February 9, 2019 at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton. A celebration of David's life will follow at 4 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
