David S. Tobey, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer. He was the husband of Jane Marsan-Tobey.
He was born in Medford, MA on October 22, 1936, the son of the late Philip and Gladys (McClare) Tobey. He served a tour of duty in the U. S. Air Force. He was a bus driver instructor for AA Transportation in Shrewsbury, MA. and a printer. He enjoyed traveling, camping, bicycling, jogging, kayaking, mountain climbing and riding his motorcycle. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his wife of 18 years, he leaves a brother, Robert Tobey of Milford, N. H. and a sister, Jean Lacey of Cooper City FL, several sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Laurel Tobey as well as seven brothers and two sisters.
There will be no calling hours or a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
