Donald J. Kochis

Donald James Kochis, of Harvard MA, 67, passed away at his home on October 28, 2017, surrounded by family, after over 30 years battling Parkinson's disease and Type 1 Diabetes. 

Beloved husband of 43 years to Kathleen M. (Hanifan). Loving father to Kerrianne Reesey and husband Jason Reesey of Stow MA, Daniel of Washington, D.C, Stephen and wife Sarah of Bolton MA, Michael and wife Meredith of Rockville Centre NY, Timothy and wife Raquel of Hingham MA. Cherished grandfather (Papa Don) to Parker, Tye, Ryder, Mason, Aidan, Maeve, Fiona, Jack and Henry.  Dear brother to Valerie Werzyn and husband Tom, Paul and wife Amy, Raine and wife Margaret, and Roger. Predeceased by his parents August and Virginia (Padden). 

Born in Boston MA, June 29, 1950. Graduated from Xavier High School in 1968 and Villanova University with a degree in Accounting in 1972. Devoted father and husband who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Loved working outdoors, camping trips and vacations on Cape Cod.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 10:00 am in St. Theresa the Little Flower Church, 15 Still River Rd. Harvard. His funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial at Bellevue Cemetery, Harvard.
