Donald P. "Tookie" Laskowsky
October 17, 1931 — February 27, 2018
Donald P. "Tookie" Laskowsky, lifelong resident of Maynard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Emerson Hospital in Concord surrounded by his loving family. He was 86 years old.
Donald was born in PA on October 17, 1931, a son to the late Dominic and Wanda (Yanovich) Laskowsky. Upon graduating from Maynard High School, Donald honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1951-1954 attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Donald worked as a builder for many years and he later worked at Butternut Country Club in Stow as a groundskeeper. He was a member of the Maynard Lodge of Elks and enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his loving son Ron Laskowsky of Hyannis and his sister Carol Soar of Littleton and sister in-law Margaret Laskowsky of Hampton NH. Donald was predeceased by his late son Richard Laskowsky of New Hampshire and his late siblings Bob, Alice, Sylvia, Joan, David and Raymond.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Donald at a graveside service on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm in St. Bridget Cemetery, Maynard.
