Dorothea L. Chartier

Dorothea L. (Hatfield) Chartier, age 93, a longtime resident of Dunstable died Dec. 29,2010 at the Southern N.H. Medical Center in Nashua, NH after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Chartier who died in 1997.

She was born in Clinton, MA on August 23, 1917, the daughter of the late George & Lelitia (Tuschar) Hatfield. She was educated in the Pepperell School System and resided in Pepperell for 23 years prior to moving to Dunstable. She was a member of the Dunstable Grange for over 50 years.. She attended St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA.

She leaves a son, Richard Chartier of Dunstable, a sister-in-law, Ann Butterfield of Dunstable, two grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild and nieces and nephews. She also leaves close friends, Shirl and Althea Willey of Mechanic Falls, ME.

There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring.
