Dorothy V. Farrington

Farrington, Dorothy V. Age 98 of Pepperell passed away February 2, 2016. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, James T. Farrington. Dorothy is survived by her two sons; Brian Farrington of Millis and Kevin Farrington of Watertown; grandchildren Ian Farrington of Groton and Eamonn Farrington and his wife, Lindsay of Groton and a great grandchild, Colin. She is also survived by her sister, Marian Hammers of Owensboro, KY and her niece, Donna Hammers of Waterbury, CT. Dorothy received her R.N. from the Grace Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit Michigan. She later served her country honorably as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Nursing Corps during World War II. At the request of the family, services will be held privately. Internment at the Bourne National Veterans' Cemetery, Bourne, Massachusetts.
