Dorothy H. Meyers

Littleton   Dorothy H. Meyers, 98, formerly of Littleton died on November 19, 2015 at Life Care Center, of Acton. She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 18, 1917, daughter of the late Percy and Esma (Meisner) Dauphinee, and was the wife of the late Paul E. Meyers, Sr. who died in 2001. She grew up in Cambridge, and attended the Morse School and Cambridge High and Latin. She married Paul in 1955 and made her home in Littleton since 1956. Mrs. Meyers had worked at Filene’s Department Store in Boston as a tailor, the Hilton Hotel in Chicago in her younger life, and later in food service in the Littleton Public School System. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Diana M. Palumbo and her husband Bob of Concord, a son Dr. Paul E. Meyers Jr. and his wife Lissette of Andover, and a brother Calvin C. Dauphinee of Gainesville, FL. She was Grandmother to Nicholas and Andrea Palumbo, Briana, Danielle and Isabelle Meyers, Michelle Parsons and Ingmar Zaiter. She also had 3 great grandchildren, Jackson, Cody, and Zachary. A Private Service was held at the convenience of the family.
