Elizabeth Sawyer

Littleton     Elizabeth (Kingsbury) Sawyer. 83, formerly of Littleton died at Apple Valley Nursing home In Ayer on November 19, 2015. She was born in Frankfort, Maine on May 10, 1932 daughter of the late John and Doris (Curtis) Kingsbury and was the wife if the late Walter “bud” Sawyer who died in 2009. She came to Littleton at the age of 12 and graduated from Littleton High school in 1950. Betty was married in 1952 and has made her home in Littleton for most of her life. She worked at United Elastics, Digital Equipment in Acton for 3 years and then as a waitress at the Glenview in Chelmsford and the Bull Run in Shirley. In her later life she and her husband wintered in Florida and summered in Maine.   Betty, loved spending time with her family and friends and lived life to its fullness. She will ber greatly missed by all.   Here survivors include her children Zoe and her husband David Porter of Lunenburg, Steven and his wife Sharon Sawyer of Ayer, and Sandra and her husband Bill Hughey of Washington Indiana. 2 grandchildren Andrea and Scott, and 7 Great Grandchildren.   Private services will be held at a later date.
