Eugenia Kosmopoulos

Eugenia Kosmopoulos, 81, formerly of Pepperell, Massachusetts, passed away on March 29th, 2026. She was born on November 21st, 1944, in Messini, Greece.

In 1966, she and her husband Jimmy (Dimitri) left Greece for America, bringing her recipes and a boundless enthusiasm for life. Through hard work and sacrifice, they saved enough to purchase C&S Pizza, which they would run for nearly 20 years.

She didn't just serve pizza at C&S - she greeted every customer like they were walking into her home. People came back not just for the food, but because she remembered them, asked about their families, and made them feel like they mattered. Her vivacious spirit turned a pizza shop into a place where everyone belonged. To generations of customers, she was simply "Mama Pizza."

Her faith, along with her family, was the foundation of her life. At Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Fitchburg, she served with joy and dedication in the community, including as President of the Elpis Society.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy, and her older sister.

She is survived by her children, Christina and Arthur; her cherished grandson Nicholas; her remaining siblings; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a period of visitation on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1319 Main Street, Fitchburg, MA. Her funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. Burial in Association Cemetery, 8 Park St., Pepperell, MA.
