Eva Gabriella (French) Savickas of Littleton passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. She was 90 years of age.
Eva was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 21, 1929, the eldest daughter to the late Alfred and Gabriella (Grosso) French. After completing high school, she married Mecislawas Savickas. The couple traveled and relocated many times throughout the years because of Mecislawas' military duties. As the family grew, so did the locations they visited. From Alaska to California, Germany and France, travel was always a part of Eva's life. Eva loved to shop. She enjoyed thrift shop buys and could be seen frequenting yard sales and flea markets scooping up the great deals. She always enjoyed cooking, sewing and needlepoint crafts. A dyed in the wool city girl, Eva learned to ride a bicycle at age 50, and became fond of gardening. A woman always on the go, Eva seemed to have boundless energy. She was loved beyond measure and will be dearly missed.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Cousins of Littleton; her grandchildren, Bryan and Jocelyn "Nina" Cousins; as well as her siblings Mary LaCorte, Rita Curry, Ernestine DeName, Gabriella Sheridan, Matthew French and Gregory French. In addition to her husband, she is sadly predeceased by her siblings Alfred and Josephine French.
Funeral services for Eva are private.
