Gino Silveri age 96 and longtime Somerville resident passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at his son's residence in Tewksbury with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Concetta (Cicconardi) Silveri.
Born in Ofena, Abruzzi, Italy on December 23, 1922 he was the son of the late Antonio and Antonia (Cantera) Silveri.
Gino was a talented tailor and worked for Davis Clothing, where he met Concetta. They were married on October 14th, 1951, lived in Somerville and started their loving family. He was very proud of his family, his home and his garden. He enjoyed listening to music and playing his harmonica.
Along with is devoted wife Concetta he is survived by his loving sons, Tony Silveri of Somerville, Gino Silveri and his wife Susan of Tewksbury and John Silveri and his wife Claire of Milbury; his cherished grandchildren, Kendra, Alex and Lucas Silveri and his great-granddaughter Elisa Silveri. He is also survived by his sister Maria Sabourin of Littleton and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Gino on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2:00-6:00 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 am in St. Anne's Church, 75 King St., Littleton. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
