Gloria Jean (Salazar) Keele 81,  loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on October 10, 2022  after a brief illness.

Gloria was born on November 5,1940 in Gardner, CO to Santiago Salazar and Julia Gallegos Salazar. She attended Walsenburg High School where she graduated at the top of her class. After graduation she moved to Colorado Springs where she met the love of her life, Kenneth Dean Keele.  They were married in 1960 and settled in Littleton, MA where they raised their three daughters.

Gloria had a passion for gardening. She would spend hours a day in the yard planting flowers and vegetables, building rock walls, and tending to her bird houses and feeders. She loved nature and all wildlife and enjoyed feeding her deer and chipmunk friends. Gloria was a gifted seamstress. She enjoyed making window treatments for family and friends, Halloween costumes, and matching outfits for her young girls as well as quilts from the scrap material, which her family will cherish forever.

Gloria kept busy but her family always came first. She worked at Le Lyonnais Restaurant in Acton, MA for over 25 years and she later went to work at JCPenney as a window treatment specialist, where she retired in 2017. Both of these longtime jobs brought her many close friends.

Gloria is survived by her husband Kenneth; her daughters Michelle Johnston and Eric of Hudson, NH, and Nancy Keele and Donald Partridge of Ayer, MA;  her granddaughters, Zoe Bode and Kimberly Johnston and her grandson, Brian Partridge.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
