Grace Hamm

Ayer   Grace (Perlman) Hamm passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 3, 2015 at Apple Valley Center, of Ayer. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 5, 1920 daughter of the late Horace Perlman and Bessie (Sacks) Perlman. She was the beloved wife of Norman Gerard Hamm for 67 years before his passing in November of 2014. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many outdoor activities such as boating and fishing in Brigantine/Merchantville, New Jersey area while owning a home there. She proudly served our country as a “Rosie the Riveter”, riveting on aircraft while men were at war during WW2. She also enjoyed reading. Grace is survived by her youngest son Michael and his wife Patricia of Merrimack, NH, her daughter-in-law Helen Hamm of Littleton, MA and her children Debbi and her husband Jean of Littleton, MA. Kenny and his wife Alison of Shrewsbury, MA and Kevin and his wife Jenn of Mashpee, MA She also is survived by five great grandchildren Dezerae, Jadae, Josh, AJ and Brayden. Grace was the loving mother of Gerald Hamm of Littleton, MA who passed away suddenly March of 2007.and sister of the late Flossie Babbit of PA and “Chic” Eisberg of Nyack NY Visiting hours will be held Tuesday December 8th , 2015 at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton, MA from 6-8 pm with a Funeral Service at 7:30 pm.   In lieu of flowers conributions may be made to your local animal shelter.
