Harold Milton Whitcomb

Harold "Harry" Milton Whitcomb, 81, of Littleton passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his home on Monday, January 12, 2015. He was the beloved husband of his high school sweetheart Elvira "Vi" (DeBenedictis) Whitcomb for 58 years. He was born in Littleton on August 22, 1933 son of the late Harold and Josephine (Ruggles) Whitcomb.

Harry lived and worked on his family's farm until 1956. He worked for Lexington Sand and Gravel in Acton until his retirement. He was among the founders of Community Christian Fellowship in Lowell and on the advisory board with his wife for over 30 years. Harry was the loving father of Marie (Whitcomb) Hebb and husband Brian, Paula (Whitcomb) Marcouillier and husband Rick, Mark Whitcomb and wife Michelle (Brown) Whitcomb all of Littleton, and his adopted daughter Sandra Berman and her husband Lloyd of Westford. He adored his grandchildren Ryan Marcouillier, Michelle (Marcouillier) Dougherty and husband Lucas, Jessica (Whitcomb) Perry and husband Daniel, Joshua Whitcomb, and his great grand daughter Ava Rose Dougherty.

He was the late brother of Edward Whitcomb and William Whitcomb of Littleton. He is survived by his sister Mildred McGovern and brother David Whitcomb also of Littleton.

The services will be held on Saturday, January 17th at Community Christian Fellowship, 105 Princeton Blvd., Lowell, MA 01851. Visiting hours will be from 2:00 ? 4:00pm with the funeral service immediately following.
