Harriet G. (Osborne) Palmer age 82 of Littleton passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Washington, D.C. on April 16, 1935 the daughter of the late Earl W. and Virginia M. (Kendrick) Osborne. Harriet was raised and educated in the Washington, D.C. area. In her teenage years she met the love her life, the late Warren L. Palmer, Sr, who she soon married and started a family with. After many years of moving around the country as a proud military family, they finally settled down in Littleton in 1962.
Harriet was a devoted wife and mother, and was loved by all who knew her. She had a passion for medicine and spent most of her life working in the medical field. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, visits with her family in Maryland and being in New England, especially Maine.
She is survived by her children, Steven E. Palmer of Portugal, Paul A. Palmer of Westminster, Kevin B. Palmer of Milford, NH, Robert C. Palmer of Hudson and Marianne March of Ashburnham, her grandchildren, Jason, Caleigh, Nicholas and Kelsey and her great-grandchildren Jayden, Maddie, Paxton and Nathan. She was predeceased by her son Warren L. Palmer, Jr. and brother Donald Osborne.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Harriet on Friday, Nov. 10 from 5-8 pm in the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
