Helen Louise (Vanderhoof) Bouley, 95, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the home of her granddaughter in Littleton, MA. She was born on March 8, 1919 in Concord, MA to Frank and Laura (Whitney) Vanderhoof.
Helen grew up in Concord and graduated from Concord High School in 1936. After high school she worked at the family business, Vanderhoof Hardware, Middlesex Bank in Concord, Brandeis University from which she retired, and GBS in Stow.
Helen married the love of her life, Patrick Bouley in 1945 in Concord and they were happily married for 38 years. They created many fond memories with their daughter and other family members on Mohegan Road in Acton.
Helen spent many wonderful summers at the family cabin in Sebec, Maine, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening and cooking.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Faith Storer, brother Albert Vanderhoof and daughter Laura Kallstrom.
Helen is survived by her granddaughter Crystal Orton and her husband David with whom she resided, grandsons Erik Kallstrom of California, Andrew Kallstrom of Maryland, William Kallstrom of North Carolina, and 6 great-grandchildren including Helen, Hannah, Connor, and Colin Orton. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews with whom she had a special bond.
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday, October 1st, at Badger Funeral Home in Littleton, MA. Burial will be private.
