Hunter T. Micciche

April 20, 1998 — April 3, 2023

Hudson, Massachusetts

Hunter T. Micciche, 24, of Hudson, MA, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He fiercely and courageously battled until the very end. Hunter is the loving son of Thomas and Madeline Micciche.

Hunter was born in Russia and was adopted at the age of 13 months by Madeline and Thomas, who traveled to Russia to meet Hunter and bring him home to the United States. The Micciches knew he would need some extra help navigating his new life here and were there for constant love and support for him. He proudly graduated from Hudson High School, class of 2016, with all of his peers. Hunter was then enrolled in the Assabet Valley Collaborative where thrived in their program. He did his internship at Applied Communication Systems Inc. where used his knowledge of radios and radio communications to excel in their program.

He is a general licensed ham radio operator and enthusiast. Hunter has always had a love and respect for the Hudson Police Department and Hudson Fire Department, he has many friends at both agencies. Hunter spent the best summer of his life this past summer becoming a member of the Hudson Public Works Family where he was responsible for keeping up the beauty of the downtown district. He was so proud of his work where he pulled his wagon and was known as 007. He posted daily pics on his Facebook page "Where is 007 today" and had quite a following.

Hunter was a friend to all and was always willing to lend a hand whether it was putting a band-aid on a scraped knee at the splash pad or programming the scanners in the HPD police vehicles, which he was honored to do. The Micciches encourage everyone to live life as Hunter did. He always waved to HPD, HFD, HPW, HLP, tow truck operators, postal workers and the citizens of Hudson, MA.

In addition to his parents he is survived by one of his biggest supporters, his loving brother Lucas. Hunter is also survived by his Grandmother Helen Micciche, his Nana Joanne Wisuri, his Grampy Paul Wisuri, as well as his God parents Lisa Micciche Murray and Garrett Wisuri as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be dearly missed by his best friend and sidekick, Kelsey Gallagher. Hunter will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Hunter was predeceased by his grandfather Alphonse S. Micciche.

A scholarship fund in Hunters memory will be established in the near future.

A funeral procession, that will include the Hudson Police, Hudson Fire and Hudson DPW, as well as state and local officials, will proceed through the downtown streets of Hudson on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at 3:00PM. Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Hunters life at the American Heritage Museum 568 Main St. Hudson, MA beginning at 4:00PM.
