Hyunjoo Kim

On Friday, September 1st, 2023, Hyunjoo Kim passed away at Mass General Hospital, peacefully with her husband Mike by her side. She is survived by Mike, daughters Janice and Kelly, mother-in-law Yonja, sister-in-law Hanna, and niece Grace.

Hyunjoo was born in Seoul, Korea on September 11th, 1961. After graduating from Yonsei University in Seoul, she attended a graduate school at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, where she met Mike.

Throughout her life, Hyunjoo enjoyed dancing and teaching, especially Korean language. Her love for dance was passed down to her daughters, who began learning ballet at young ages of around 5. Hyunjoo was known for her warm heart and genuine kindness. She never sought the spotlight and never judged those who were unprivileged.

Hyunjoo will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Hyunjoo's life for a brief period of visitation on Tuesday, September 5, 10:00AM, at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, Massachusetts. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation.
