Ida Bradbury

Littleton, Ma ? Ida (Morris) Bradbury, 81, died peacefully on July 15, 2015 after an extended illness. Born in Middleburg Virginia on September 8, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Franklin and Elizabeth (Carper) Morris of Berryville VA.
She was courted by her true love Alfred and after marriage in 1954 moved with him to the Boston area, and eventually to Littleton in 1956. After attending schooling at the University of Virginia and Fitchburg State she worked as a pre-school teacher in Littleton-Chelmsford communities while raising her family. Active in the community as a Scout Mother and Prefect of St. Anne's Sodality, along with her co-owner ship at one time of the Upton House, Concord Lamp and Shade Shop that kept her busy, but never too busy for her family.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband Alfred W. Bradbury Jr. and their four sons Alfred W. III and his wife Jean of New Ipswich, NH, Jeffrey of Littleton, Timothy and his wife Sarah of Acton, and Peter and his wife Nada of West Chester, Ohio. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, Nanette, Mathew and Nicole, Katie and Jack, Peter Jr., Nicholas and George. And 6 great grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her sister Barbara Lilly of Winchester VA, and many dear friends and relatives.
Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 4-7PM at Badger Funeral Home, located at 347 King Street, Littleton, MA 01460. A funeral service will take place at 10AM on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at the funeral home.
