Isabel (Noel) Ursch, 92, of Littleton died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 20, 2016 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley. She was born in Everett, MA on August 4, 1923, daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Oldford) Noel and was the wife of the late, Ralph R. Ursch who died in 1986. She grew up in Littleton and was a graduate of Littleton High School, Class of 1942. Isabel then graduated from Leominster School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. During WWII she served with the Nurse Cadet Corp at Camp Edwards, MA. It was there she met her husband who was serving in the U.S. Navy as a Torpedo Avenger Pilot. Isabel and Ralph were married for 40 years and raised their family of 6 children.


Isabel proudly served for many years as the last public health nurse for the town of Littleton and the Nashoba Board of Health. She was devoted to providing for Littleton’s homebound elderly residents and enjoyed working for the town in which she brought up her family.


Isabel is survived by her children, Prudence Ursch of Littleton, Thomas Ursch of Littleton, Ralph R. Ursch Jr, of Carlisle, Judith Magee of Littleton, Andrew Ursch of Framingham, and Constance Ursch of Littleton, 16 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren and 32 nieces and nephews.


Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, January 29, from 4-7 pm at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St. Littleton. Funeral Service and Burial will be private.
