Isabelle L. Willson, age 90, died on December 5, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH after a period of declining health.
She was born in Pepperell on January 1, 1923, the daughter of the late Leo B. and Maude E. (Becker) Willson. She was educated in the Pepperell School System and continued her education at Boston College where she earned her Masters Degree in Nursing. She was employed in many hospitals in the Boston area and retired from Salem Hospital as a Nursing Supervisor. She loved to travel around the world and loved painting. She was a member of the Beverly Artist Guild for many years.
She leaves a brother, Robert H. Willson of Bristol, NH; a nephew David A Willson of Pepperell; three nieces, Robin A. Comeau of Greenville, NH, Fay I. Blood of Pepperell and Donna L. Johnston of Fort Worth, TX and many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 16 Pleasant Street, Pepperell. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Pepperell Cemetery.
