Jack Robert Scalf

Jack Robert Scalf, a longtime resident of Groton, passed away suddenly on November 12, 2020 at the age of 19. He was the son of Sue (Bubeck) Cody.

Jack was born in Greensboro, NC on November 20, 2000. He was raised in Groton and was a graduate of the Groton-Dunstable class of 2019. Jack was an avid reader and loved to learn. Jack was very private but those who knew him will forever remember his caring nature and quick wit. He enjoyed nature and taking his dog Jimmy on daily walks. His quiet gentleness will be missed by so many people who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his mother, Sue, Jack is survived by his dog Jimmy, his siblings Bailey, Emmie, and Carter, as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Jack for a period of memorial visitation in the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School Street, Groton on November 29 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. His celebration of life service will immediately follow the visitation, but is private for family only.
