James Pacy 96, of Andover, MA died peacefully at Boston Medical Center, Sunday the 7th of April 2024.
James was born on July 25th 1927 at his home in Littleton, MA. He was the oldest of 7 growing up in Littleton on the family farm. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1948 and was stationed in Hawaii where he was an MP until he was honorably discharged in 1952. He was also an avid boxer, and won many matches.
Upon returning home he met his lifelong sweetheart Lillian Hickey, and married her in 1956, where they lived in Littleton, Acton, Bedford, and finally Andover MA, where they fell in love with the town and stayed there from 1978 to 2024.
He went on to become a well known developer, builder and realtor, enjoying building houses over 200 homes all over Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
James loved spending time with his family, especially with his grand children, always sharing stories with them, “back in the old days”. He loved looking at pictures and talking about old memories. He was an avid reader and later in life got his 1st computer and spent hours reading about history, politics and vitamins. Overall James loved to do anything that involved his family, any chance he was able to get together with family, he would be extremely happy. James loved attending every sporting event from his children growing up and then all of his grandchildren’s games. No matter what the sport was, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and more he was there supporting his family. These are memories that will never be forgotten.
James is survived by his son Kurt and his wife Michelle of Salem NH, Neil and his wife Traci of Haverhill, MA, and his daughter Debbie Harrison of Nashua NH, grand children Jade of North Hollywood CA, Cody of Nashua NH, Mikayla, Alexa, and Ryan of Salem NH, Spencer and Branden of Haverhill MA. As well as 2 great grand children Marley and Mya of North Hollywood CA. He was Predeceased by his wife Lillian and his daughter Rhonda.
James will be truly missed by us all, we love you dad!!
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate James life on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4:00-7:00PM at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, MA 01460. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton, MA.
